Custom Kitchen Cabinets — Lookout Mountain

Lookout Mountain homes — on both the Georgia and Tennessee sides — typically aren't served well by stock or semi-custom cabinets. Older homes have settled in interesting ways. Newer homes are often architecturally distinctive and demand cabinetry that respects the design intent. Custom is the only real answer, and we build it locally.

The mountain has a character that flat ranch-and-tract neighborhoods don't. Steep grades, mature trees, homes that were built into the topography rather than imposing on it. Kitchens in these homes often have non-standard ceiling pitches, walls that aren't perfectly plumb, and a viewshed that makes the kitchen layout decisions different from a typical suburban project. We work with the actual conditions — measuring carefully, designing around the architecture, building cabinetry that looks like it always belonged.

Lookout Mountain customers consistently tell us they want cabinets that match the quality of the homes they're going into. We tailor hardwood species, door construction, finishes, drawer boxes, and hardware to the design and daily use of each room, including inset construction and soft-close options where the project calls for them.

Our shop is in Trenton, just down the western base of the mountain — typically 20 minutes to either the Georgia or Tennessee summits. That makes consultations easy to schedule and installations efficient to manage. Free initial estimates for Lookout Mountain kitchen projects — call 706-657-8112.

Frequently asked questions

How much do custom kitchen cabinets cost?

Custom kitchen cabinetry is quoted for your project. Size, cabinet layout, door style, materials, finish, hardware, and installation all affect the estimate. Share photos, your location, and rough measurements for a free initial estimate; we confirm the inclusions and provide a project-specific written quote.

Why choose custom over semi-custom or stock cabinets?

Stock cabinets offer set sizes and configurations; semi-custom lines offer a defined range of modifications. Custom cabinetry lets us plan cabinet dimensions, storage depth, and drawer configurations around the room and your needs. Compare the actual materials, permitted modifications, and installation scope to decide which approach suits your kitchen.

How long does a custom kitchen cabinet project take?

Timing depends on the design, materials, current build queue, and installation scope. We confirm your project schedule before work begins. Shop build time is only part of the overall schedule.

Can you match my existing cabinets or finishes?

Yes. We regularly match existing stains, paint colors, and door profiles so new cabinets integrate seamlessly with your home.

Do you remove old cabinets?

Removal of existing cabinetry can be included in the project scope. We confirm what is included and coordinate installation before work begins.
